OK we have liftoff! the rally field is booked for the first weekend in June (1st and 2nd).

Venue - Fir Tree campsite Warmington, Banbury OX17 1JL

Our weekend rate will be £10 and day trippers 5 per vehicle. The venue is a large rally field connecting to the Fir Tree's campsite. We get to use the campsite amenities (showers and toilets). The field will hold well over 100 vans, tents etc ;)

The plan is to have a central marque to house DJ(s) and be the central meeting area. BBQ's are allowed, anything being used to cook or burn wood needs to be off the ground (usual campsite rules). The marque will have a couple 16amp power supplies for the DJ kit and some charging points for phones etc. The rally field has no hard standing areas or power.

Currently we have no plans for onsite food vans or trade stalls (all welcome if anyone knows someone), however the local pubs are very good and within walking distance. The farm shop is also within walking distance and apparently really good. We will be offering Vanditos Ales and have a merchandise stand. Dan (mr CB) will have a CB stand, he can tune your rig and advise on installation etc (CB geek), he will also have a couple of rigs for sale over the weekend.

We will hold an alternative show and shine of Sunday. Lady judges, categories include deepest shag, best sticker, loudest exhaust etc. trophies for the best (and worst).

Vanditos aim is to get as many classic American vans together as possible. We understand that not everyone who would like to attend has a classic yank van. Everyones welcome, all classic or cool vans, cars, bikes, onlookers and followers. Lets have a party ;)
